Defining Your WHY

It does not matter who you are, what you do or what you want, ALL OF US have a WHY. How do we really define it? Do we have so much WHY that our true desires are blurred. OR do we feel complete and a WHY is not something you give thought to much at all? WHY is what drives us, helps us to set and attain long and short term goals, WHY is everything. Coming into this new year, many have set to the task of defining long term goals for the year. So many write these goals down, RESOLVE to do them, then put the list away...At the end of the year we may glance at last years resolutions to see if any of it actually 'happened'. What is the deal with this phenomenon? Why is it that so many people do not take their resolutions seriously enough to commit to them? Their WHY is lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Drowned by everyday worries, immediate gratifications, and lack of self love and discipline. This year, Before the final draft of your resolutions, take the time to sit and meditate on what you really want, how you really feel and how you want to feel as you step everyday towards your Years Goals. When you think about your resolutions, take note about how you FEEL imagining yourself achieving them. This feeling is your WHY. Your WHY is the fuel that ignites your actions, thoughts and daily practices. HOLD on to that, It is your most prized possession, your arsenal, your juice. Develop your WHY NOW and you will see your resolutions become a WAY OF LIFE instead a paper filled with missed opportunities and regrets.
